About the app

Tournify is a software solution with which tournaments can be created, managed, shared and enjoyed. In 2022, the Cannonballs Tournament was the first ever showdown tournament to use such a system in the Netherlands – and probably worldwide! And we have used it every year since. We are very excited about Tournify and we really like its features. We’v also heard many good things about Tournify from players at previous Cannonballs tournaments. Consequently, we are certainly using Tournify again this year. Tournify has an app and players can use it for the following things:

  • Check your match schedule. At what time and in which room is your next match?
  • Check results . Use the app to see your match results and the results of your friends and countrymen.
  • Check standings. View the standings in your group and in other groups.
  • Don’t miss a single match thanks to push messages directly to your phone. Enable push messages in the app and you will receive a message 15 minutes before the start of every match.
  • Keep the homefront up to date. Share the link of your personal Tournify page with your friends and family at home, and they will be able to see your results and standings as you progress through the tournament.

Go straight to the Tournify page of the tournament. Or download the app for iOS or android.
The Tournify app is available in Dutch, English, Spanish, German, Polish and French and has both a day and night mode.

How does it work?

You can use Tournify either via their app or using your favorite browser. However, we strongly suggest using their app. The Tournify app is more accessible than the webpage, and it has some cool features that the website does not have. Once you have installed the app on your phone, open it and use the search field to find the Cannonballs Tournament. Just type: “cannonballs” in the search field and it should be the first result that pops up. Then, click on “het Cannonballstoernooi 2025” and the app will open the tournament. The app has five main tabs you can use:

  • Tournament: this is the main tab with general information.
  • Players: this tab opens a list of all players.
  • Standings: this tab shows the current standings in all groups.
  • Schedule: this tab shows a chronological overview of all matches.
  • Referees: this tab shows a list of all referees at the tournament.

Push messages

One of the handiest features of the app are push messages. These are messages that appear directly on the start screen of your phone. If you have push messages enabled, you will receive a message 15 minutes before your next match starts, so you will never be late for your match. The message will also tell you which playing room you need to go to. After the match, you will get a message with the result of your match. If you like, you can also receive these messages about other players.

How to enable push messages?

Go to the “players” tab and click on your own name. Your personal page opens. At the top of the screen, click “mark as favorite”. And that’s it, you’re done! From now on, you will receive push messages for your upcoming matches and your results. If you want to follow another player, simply click their name in the list and mark them as favorite as well.

The rest of the app is pretty self-explanatory. If you do have any questions, however; please just visit the match office, and one of the organizers or referees there will gladly help you out. You can find the match office in room Amber, up the stairs, go right into the hallway and take the second door on the left.
